I lived at 3 Eagleton Villas from about 1950 - 1955. My grandparents lived next door from which they ran a small hotel. We accommodated the ‘overspill’ during the busy summer months. I remember having to move into the attic when the hotel was full from where could see the bus/coach station. I would watch for my dad, who was a football referee, coming back from a match on a Saturday. Although I was very young I still have fond memories of Great Yarmouth!
