Priory School in the 1930's

Donald Tyson, believed ex pupil

I have just had a conversation with one of my Dad's old friends. He says Dad attended the Priory School. Dad -Donald Tyson of Winterton on Sea was born in 1926. I know he attended Winterton Primary and then the Grammar School but was unaware of him attending the Priory.

Q1- Are there records of the school for the 1930's?

If yes, Q2-Where are they kept please?

A long shot, but Dad died in 1960. He would've thus been 89 today. Are there any past pupils on this site who might recognise his name?

Hi Maggie,

I am doing the research on the Priory School. Most of the records are kept in the Norwich Record Office. The Priory Centre, where I work, has a logbook from 1943, but your father may have left by then.
