My first visit to Great Yarmouth

My memories of Great Yarmouth began in May 1954 aged sixteen and a half, when I went to live there (staying at my then boyfriend's mother's house). His mother took in visitors for the summer for many years at Walpole Road Newtown. I immediately loved the place, being near the beach and the entertainment. (I came from Middlesbrough in Yorkshire and the nearest beach was Redcar 9 miles away). Eric and I met in Leeds when he was doing his National Service. This year we celebrate 58 years of marriage. I have some photos and stories to add at a later date.
