To Sarah Woods, your article on WW2 attacks on Great Yarmouth prompts me to write what great reading it makes.  For a very short time my Mother and I went to Castle Ashby Sept 1939, my two older brothers went to Retford with the school. By the January 1942 we all came back to live in Yarmouth.  I am 75yrs old and now a great grandad my grandaughter gave me a book titled 'From you to me JOURNAL OF A LIFETIME'; each page asks a question.  Now I have read your article I can put in for her to read the Great Yarmouth website, this will also give her and my great grandson just what we all went thru in the 1940s.  Again Time & Tide have come up trumps, many many thanks.
