Dear Mr Cox, These are great pictures of the Norwich Belle. I have in the past tried to find any pictures /details of her in Elat, without success. In her final guise with the bridge extended out the the ship side I think she was one of the very best looking British pleasure boats. ( The only one that comes near is my Karina which we still operate on trips from Douglas Isle of Man, although Karina is quite a bit smaller). Presumably she sailed out to Egypt. I do have a picture of her laid up in a dock in London which I will find and try and post tomorrow. best regards Stephen Carter

I was a shipwright's plater at Richards for 9 years and did the final survey on her hull the pictures taken were done by me to and the words scrap were written by me too , many fond memories .frank K8S
