Trying to trace a boat

I am trying to trace a boat called the Dulce Cor (Sweetheat) which was owned by my family in the 1930s. The Dulce Cor had apparently been a lifeboat before being sold privately and converted for family use.
I would be so interested to find out about the history of the Dulce Cor during the time she was a lifeboat and would be very grateful for any information or suggestions for research.
