The Boating Lakes

There were, at one time, two boating lakes on the 'Golden Mile'.
The Northern one, next to the Waterways, is still going strong, probably because of its proximity to the Waterways, which itself has now faded into the background.
The Southern one, which was adjacent to the Pleasure Beach, has long since vanished into history, becoming part of the Log Flume ride.
