What did Mum and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa do in their spare time as children?
I went fishing and made models.
What games did they play?
Ball games.
What were their favourite toys?
Toy cars, soldiers and a boat.
If they had a TV what were their favourite TV programmes?
I didn't have a TV.
Did they belong to any clubs?
No.
What was it like to go to the cinema and what was their favourite film?
It was cheap to go to the cinema but it was always a special treat.
How much pocket money did they get and what did they spend it on?
I got one penny which I spent on sweets.
If they went on holiday where did they go?
I didn't go on holiday.
